Termite Reports on NPMA-33 Forms (Available in PDF Format)

Real Estate Sales Contracts, HUD/FHA-VA & Conventional Lenders, Appraisers, Buyers and Home Inspectors often require, request or recommend a WDI Wood Destroying Insect Inspection Report. This report is also referred to as a Termite, Pest, WDI or Wood-Boring Insect Inspection Report. The mostly widely accepted format for this report is the NPMA-33 WDI Report.

Wood Destroying Insects in the Chicago & Suburban Areas include Subterranean Termites, Carpenter Ants, Powder Post Beetles & Carpenter Bees.

Realtors and lenders will tell you that the best way to get a good inspection is to hire a company that is state licensed for pest control. Home inspectors are required to be licensed for home inspections but are not required to pass any wood destoyring inspect test for pest control licensing.

It is also important that your inspector have experience and a good record for accurate reports. We have been serving the real estate industry with wood destroying insect reports since 1987. We are also A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau since 1994.

Our inspectors have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. That assures that our inspectors know which property conditions are conducive to wood destroying infestations as well as which geographic areas have the highest concentration of wood destroying insects.

If you are a buyer, your inspector should be able to share his/her knowledge to help you reduce the possiblitly of a future infestation or the impact that  your neighbor's infestation(s) will have on the property you are purchasing.

Reports are issued on the industry standard NPMA-33 form at the time of inspection or in electronic PDF format via e-mail at the end of the day. All reports are worded and formatted in a manner to assure that your closing will go smoothly, even when we observe wood destroying insects. A WDI for a real estate transaction is generally a limited visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of the property and does not include any dismantling, removing or invasive  procedures.

The reasons we can serve you better than most companies:

The knowledge gained by the experience of completing over 175,000 WDI reports provides a level of expertise that assures you the best possible inspection with the correct identification and reporting of findings.

We limit our business to inspecting, so when one of our inspectors finds a problem he can advise you without any possible conflict or hidden agenda.

We respect your time, so our inspectors always provide a confirmed 30 minute window for your appointment.
